Sedeveria "Pink Ruby" variegated – Origin: Asia

The Sedeveria "Pink Ruby" variegated forms a compact and well-structured rosette, with slightly rounded fleshy leaves arranged in tight layers. Its coloration stands out with a grayish-green base that is softly dusted, over which intense pink tones and small reddish splashes overlap, giving it a very characteristic appearance.

In the Sedeveria "Pink Ruby" variegated , the variegation manifests in cream areas and smooth transitions between green and pink, creating delicate yet striking contrasts. With good lighting, the pink tones intensify notably, reinforcing that “ruby” effect that makes it an especially attractive variety for collectors of variegated succulents.

Variegated Sedeveria: cultivation and care

Variegated Sedeveria combine the resilience and ease of growth of Sedum with the compact and ornamental shapes typical of many Echeveria. They tend to develop dense rosettes and very variable colorations depending on light, temperature, and water stress levels.

  • 🌞 A lot of filtered light to maintain coloration and compactness
  • 💧 Water only when the substrate is completely dry
  • 🌡️ Avoid excess moisture and prolonged extreme heat
  • 🌱 Generally fast growth and ease of branching

With good lighting and gentle temperature differences, many Sedeveria variegated intensify pink, lilac, cream, and orange tones, especially during spring and autumn.

A very draining substrate, good ventilation, and avoiding prolonged moisture accumulation help maintain more compact rosettes and a more stable variegation over time.
