Graptosedum "Bronze" variegated – Origin: Don Suculentas

The Graptosedum "Bronze" variegated is a hybrid between Graptopetalum paraguayense and Sedum stahlii. It develops decumbent stems with spatula-shaped, fleshy leaves, with a smooth texture, that combine copper, cream, and light green tones.

The variegation appears irregularly and can intensify with direct sunlight exposure, showing reddening at the margins under controlled stress conditions. The Graptosedum "Bronze" variegated is a stable variety, with medium growth and a hanging or creeping habit. Plant imported from South Korea reproduced in our greenhouse.

Variegated Graptosedum: cultivation and care

Variegated Graptosedum combine the resilience and ease of branching of Sedum with the compact forms and soft colorations characteristic of many Graptopetalum hybrids. Their growth is usually active and relatively fast under stable conditions.

  • 🌞 A lot of filtered light to maintain intense coloration and compact growth
  • 💧 Water only when the substrate is completely dry
  • 🌡️ Avoid constant humidity and prolonged extreme heat
  • 🌱 Rapid development with ease of producing new shoots

Variegated varieties may show significant color changes depending on the season, developing pink, cream, lilac, or orange tones with good lighting and mild temperatures.

A very draining substrate, good ventilation, and avoiding prolonged moisture accumulation help maintain more compact plants with more stable variegation in the long term.
