Echeveria "Xing Na Ta" variegated – Origin: Asia

The Echeveria "Xing Na Ta" variegated is a collection selection that forms open and elegant rosettes, composed of broad and slightly cupped leaves. Its variegation combines a grayish-green central band with wide cream and soft yellow areas, developing delicate pinkish hues on the edges when it receives good lighting. The irregular distribution of colors makes each specimen present a unique and highly ornamental pattern.

It maintains balanced growth and a well-defined structure, preserving its appeal throughout the year. The combination of pastel tones, the contrast between the green and cream areas, and the soft pinkish coloration of the margins make the Echeveria "Xing Na Ta" variegated a variety especially appreciated within collections of variegated echeverias for its bright, elegant, and refined appearance.

Variegated Echeveria: cultivation and care

Variegated echeverias develop a lower photosynthetic capacity than their completely green counterparts, which directly affects their growth rate, sensitivity to excess sunlight, and tolerance to watering.

  • 🌞 A lot of filtered light and soft exposure
  • 💧 Water only with the substrate completely dry
  • 🔥 Avoid extreme heat and prolonged humidity
  • 🌱 Slower growth than non-variegated echeverias

Environmental stability, good ventilation, and avoiding sudden location changes help maintain more compact rosettes and a more stable variegation over time.

During intense summer, they may partially slow their growth, especially in warm climates. In these phases, controlling excess moisture is much more important than increasing watering frequency.
