Echeveria  "Pink Blush" variegated – Origin: Don Suculentas

The Echeveria “Pink Blush” is a mutation of Echeveria “Chantilly”, hybrid of the gibbiflora line created by Dick Wright, where it maintains that broad and elegant stature characteristic of this genetics. It develops an open rosette, with large, rounded, and slightly wavy leaves, showing a more sculptural and less compact structure than other Echeverias with closed rosettes.

The Echeveria “Pink Blush” stands out for its very changing coloration where green and grayish tones mix with broad pink and reddish areas that intensify with good lighting. The leaves present smooth transitions between colors, with blurred areas and pigmented edges that reinforce the “blush” aspect of the plant.Its combination of volume, texture, and coloration makes it a particularly striking variety among hybrids derived from gibbiflora. Plant imported from Indonesia reproduced in our greenhouse.

Variegated Echeveria: cultivation and care

Variegated echeverias develop a lower photosynthetic capacity than their completely green counterparts, which directly affects their growth rate, sensitivity to excess sunlight, and tolerance to watering.

  • 🔥 Avoid extreme heat and prolonged humidity
  • 🌱 Slower growth than non-variegated echeverias

Environmental stability, good ventilation, and avoiding sudden location changes help maintain more compact rosettes and a more stable variegation over time.

During intense summer, they may partially slow their growth, especially in warm climates. In these phases, controlling excess moisture is much more important than increasing watering frequency.
