Aeonium "Wedding Dress" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Wedding Dress” variegated comes from a mutation of Aeonium “Medusa”, derived in turn from Aeonium “Velour”, forming part of the group of variegated aeoniums most appreciated for their soft tones and refined chromatic evolution. It develops open rosettes of elongated and slightly spatula-shaped leaves, with a much clearer and brighter aesthetic than other varieties of this same genetic line. During winter, soft green tones predominate accompanied by large cream-white areas that begin to tint pink as light exposure increases.
With the increase in light and temperature, the pink coloration progressively intensifies from the edges towards the interior of the leaf, potentially covering a large part of the leaf surface during warm periods.The heart of the rosette typically maintains white-cream and pale green tones, clearly differentiating itself from Aeonium “Medusa”, where much more intense yellows and reds predominate. The Aeonium “Wedding Dress” variegated exhibits moderate growth and average branching capacity among variegated aeoniums. It is a vigorous variety well adapted to cultivation, although sensitive to frost like the rest of the genus. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to gradually close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
