Aeonium "Voodoo White" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Voodoo White” variegated is a mutation of the exclusive hybrid resulting from the cross between A. undulatum and A. ‘Zwartkop’, created by the specialist Jack Catlin, forming part of the group of high-contrast ornamental variegated aeoniums. It develops wide and very structured rosettes, where intense red tones combine with well-defined white and cream areas, generating one of the most striking variegations within the “Voodoo” line. During the dormancy period, the plant shows its best expression, with especially marked variegation boundaries and a very intense chromatic contrast.
As the seasons change, the Aeonium “Voodoo White” variegated evolves towards greener tones after the summer dormancy, showing very marked visual changes throughout the year.It is a variety of relatively slow growth and low production of lateral shoots, normally maintaining a compact and balanced structure. Its seasonal behavior and the intensity of its variegation make it a particularly valued piece within collections of variegated aeonium. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer rest, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
