Aeonium "Voodoo Silk Green" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Voodoo Silk Green” variegated is a mutation of the exclusive hybrid resulting from the cross between A. undulatum and A. ‘Zwartkop’, created by the specialist Jack Catlin, forming part of the group of high ornamental value hybrid variegated aeoniums. It develops wide and balanced rosettes, characterized by a silky variegation where green tones predominate accompanied by light areas in white and cream, generating an elegant and very harmonious appearance within the collection of variegated succulents.
During periods of lower luminosity, the Aeonium “Voodoo Silk Green” variegated shows a well-defined central green band accompanied by light side bands that provide contrast without losing visual uniformity.Unlike other variegated aeonium from this genetic line, it maintains its green tones for a longer time even under higher light conditions or slight stress. It shows active and stable growth, with minimal production of lateral shoots, thus reinforcing its orderly structure and its value as a collector's plant. Imported plant from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
