Aeonium "Tesla" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Tesla" variegated is a mutation within a highly developed genetic line that starts from Aeonium “Blushing Beauty”, evolves to “Pink Witch”, continues in “RiverStones” and culminates in this more refined expression within the variegated aeoniums. It features a compact and quite symmetrical rosette, with triangular and well-defined leaves that provide a clean and orderly structure within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Tesla" variegated, the variegation appears integrated, combining bright greens in the center with progressive transitions to pink and reddish tones at the edges. It is not an aggressive contrast, but rather a soft gradient that brings harmony and visual balance. With good light, the edges intensify towards warmer pinks while the center maintains freshness, resulting in a very aesthetic and stable plant among the variegated aeoniums. Plant imported from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums present a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to gradually close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
