Aeonium "Straight Flush" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Straight Flush” variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Garnet White”, belonging to the group of variegated aeoniums with intense coloration derived from this well-known genetic line. It develops large rosettes, with elongated, narrow, and slightly spatulated leaves arranged radially, showing a very open and dynamic structure. Its variegation combines irregularly shades of green, cream-ivory, lilac, purple pink, red, and very dark areas almost black, generating an extremely marked contrast, especially on leaf margins and tips.
With increased light and temperature, the coloration progressively intensifies, and deeper red and dark tones predominate, especially during the summer period. The Aeonium “Straight Flush” variegated also exhibits a great variability among specimens, as the distribution of colors and variegated patterns never repeats exactly from one plant to another. This uniqueness causes each rosette to develop a distinct expression within the same genetic line. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate are much more important than following strict watering schedules.
