Aeonium "Riverstone" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Riverstone” variegated is a mutation of A. “Pink Witch”, derived from A. “Blushing Beauty”, belonging to the group of variegated aeoniums most appreciated for the stability and softness of their coloration. During winter and in conditions of lower light, it develops leaves with a wide central green band accompanied by soft cream or white edges, and may even completely lack pink tones at certain times of the year. This clean and balanced appearance is one of the most recognizable characteristics of this variety.
With increased light and sun exposure, the margins begin to acquire intense pink tones and even purplish hues under conditions of high light stress, while the center of the rosette always remains green, clearly differentiating it from other variegated ones of this genetic line.In summer, the leaves may curl and wave slightly, adding even more character to the rosette. The Aeonium “Riverstone” variegated also exhibits very good branching ability, rapid growth, and a vigorous and stable structure throughout the year. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
Variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
