Aeonium "Qingcheng" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Qingcheng" variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Love in the City”, derived from Aeonium “Halloween” (Madeira Rose), belonging to a genetic line with a more compact morphology within the variegated aeoniums. It features a dense and very symmetrical rosette, with wide and fleshy leaves that provide a more closed and solid structure within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Qingcheng" variegated, the variegation is expressed in broad and well-defined blocks, combining intense green with cream or light yellow areas that usually occupy the margins or large sections of the leaf. With good light, the edges develop a slight pinkish tone that adds depth without breaking the harmony. This clean and stable pattern makes it an ideal choice for collectors seeking balanced variegated aeoniums within the variegated succulents.Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeonium presents a growth cycle different from that of many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer it significantly reduces its activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
