Aeonium "Purple Glow" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Purple Glow" variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Mardi Grass” in which the variegation completely transforms its color reading, leading it towards a brighter and more balanced expression within the variegated aeoniums. It maintains the wide and orderly structure typical of this genetic line, with elongated leaves arranged radially that provide a clean presence within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Purple Glow" variegated, a light green base predominates, occupying a large part of the leaf, combined with slightly desaturated areas that add depth. The most distinctive feature is the continuous edge in pink tones, which under good light intensifies and creates a very defined outline. On some leaves, darker shades appear in the central axis, softened by the variegation, creating a balanced and elegant set, ideal for collectors seeking variegated aeonium with soft contrast and refined aesthetics within variegated succulents. Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeonium has a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer it significantly reduces its activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
