Aeonium "Poseidon" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Poseidon" variegated is a mutation of Aeonium undulatum, maintaining its characteristic broad and fluid structure, but with a much more defined variegation among variegated aeoniums. It features an open and balanced rosette, with wide and slightly wavy leaves that provide an elegant and very orderly aesthetic within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Poseidon" variegated, the variegation is organized in a clear and repetitive manner, with a dominant yellow-cream base over which well-defined green stripes appear, running from the center of the leaf to the outside. The edges develop soft pink tones that frame each leaf without breaking the overall harmony, creating a very structured and visually clean ensemble. This combination of defined pattern and balanced shape makes it a very recognizable option among the most elegant variegated aeoniums. Plant imported from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
Variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
