Aeonium "Pink Witch" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Pink Witch” variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Blushing Beauty”, belonging to the group of variegated aeoniums derived from this genetic line. It develops well-defined and very balanced rosettes, with stable variegation throughout the year and a tricolor combination especially appreciated among collection variegated succulents. In the center, green and cream tones predominate, while the more developed leaves show central green stripes accompanied by pink bands of variable intensity depending on exposure and temperature.
During the growth period, the coloration evolves towards pale pink tones that progressively intensify with greater brightness and heat, without reaching the intense reds typical of other variegated aeoniums. The Aeonium “Pink Witch” variegated features leaves with slight pubescence and texture inherited from Aeonium “Blushing Beauty”, as well as good basal branching capacity and relatively fast growth. It is a vigorous variety, sensitive to frost like the rest of the genus. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess humidity can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
