Aeonium "Pink Crystal" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Pink Crystal” variegated is believed to originate from a mutation of A. ‘Riverstones’, derived in turn from A. ‘Pink Witch’ and finally from A. ‘Blushing Beauty’, belonging to the group of more ornamental variegated aeonium collections of this genetic line. It develops compact and balanced rosettes, with a light green center accompanied by margins that can acquire delicate crystalline pink tones under good lighting, visually reminiscent of certain pink quartz due to the softness and luminosity of its colors.
The Aeonium “Pink Crystal” variegated maintains a smooth and quite stable chromatic evolution throughout the year, developing shoots regularly and preserving a clean and ornamental structure even in young specimens. It shows moderate growth, good adaptation to pot cultivation, and a particularly refined aesthetic among the variegated succulents in the collection. Its combination of soft tones, stability, and ease of maintenance makes it a highly valued variety among imported variegated plants. Imported plant from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
