Aeonium "Pink Chanel" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Pink Chanel” variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Chanel”, obtained from A. ‘Cornish Rose’ or A. ‘Plum Purdy’, belonging to the group of variegated aeoniums derived from this genetic line. It develops compact and balanced rosettes, with leaves that combine a green center accompanied by pink margins and soft reddish tones, creating an elegant and highly ornamental appearance among the variegated succulents in the collection. Although there is no definitive botanical documentation regarding its exact origin, it is easily recognized by the stability and harmony of its coloration.
Unlike Aeonium “Chanel”, the Aeonium “Pink Chanel” variegated does not develop extremely intense red tones in its peak coloration phase, instead showing softer and more refined pink hues that provide a more delicate aesthetic to the rosette. It exhibits moderate growth, good budding capacity, and a very stable structure in cultivation, adapting well to pot cultivation and forming compact and balanced specimens over time. Imported plant from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, primarily developing during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to gradually close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
