Aeonium "Neptune Colorful" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Neptune Colorful” variegated is a mutation of A. ‘Love In The Fallen City’, derived in turn from A. ‘Madeira Rose’ variegated (also known as ‘Halloween’), belonging to the group of variegated aeonium collections most valued for their chromatic evolution. During the months of lower luminosity, it presents a central green band accompanied by cream or yellowish tones at the margins, maintaining a balanced and luminous appearance even in softer growth phases.
With the increase of light and temperature, the Aeonium “Neptune Colorful” variegated progressively develops red, orange, and violet tones that create a particularly intense multicolor effect in mature and well-exposed rosettes. It shows average growth and a tendency to form compact groups over time, also demonstrating stable behavior and without notable weaknesses within the variegated aeoniums. Like other mutations of the Madeira Rose, line, it may develop slowly during the early stages before becoming more vigorous and branched with maturity. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
