Aeonium "Moqi" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Moqi" variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Pink Daisy”, within the line derived from Aeonium “Mardi Grass”, where the variegation is expressed in a softer and more organic way among the variegated aeoniums. It features a looser and slightly irregular rosette, with elongated leaves that tend to curve or twist slightly, giving a more natural character within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Moqi" variegated, green dominates the leaf, accompanied by lighter areas on the edges or in soft stripes without defined patterns. The edges develop a fine pinkish border in the light, providing contrast without overwhelming the whole. This more fluid behavior makes it an ideal option for collectors seeking less aggressive and more organic variegated aeoniums within the variegated succulents. Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
