Aeonium "Moon in the Water" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Moon in the Water” variegated is a mutation obtained from A. ‘Cornish Rose’ or A. ‘Plum Purdy’, belonging to the group of variegated aeonium collections most appreciated for their seasonal chromatic evolution. During winter and in conditions of lower light, it develops leaves with an intense green central band accompanied by cream or pale yellow margins, maintaining a luminous and balanced appearance within the rosette.
With increased light and sun exposure, the Aeonium “Moon in the Water” variegated progressively transforms its coloration, developing pink, orange, and reddish tones at the edges while the center acquires dark brown hues. This contrast creates a visually striking effect during periods of maximum coloration. It shows vigorous growth, good branching capacity, and a very balanced structure even in pot cultivation, making it a very interesting variety for collectors of variegated aeonium with strong ornamental character. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
