Aeonium "Maybach" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Maybach" variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Green Cashmere”, within a genetic line characterized by its elegance and softness in chromatic expression. It features a balanced rosette, with fleshy and rounded leaves arranged in an orderly manner, maintaining a clean structure within the variegated aeoniums.
In the Aeonium "Maybach" variegated, the variegation appears in cream and light green tones, forming irregular patches rather than defined stripes, creating a dynamic yet harmonious ensemble. The center tends to remain greener and fresher, while the outer leaves show a greater mix of colors and, with good light, can develop slight warm hues on the edges and tips. Its balanced and natural aesthetic makes it a very pleasant option among variegated succulents, ideal for collections where harmony is sought without aggressive contrasts. Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
Variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
