Aeonium "Love In The Fallen City" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Love In The Fallen City” variegated is a mutation of A. Madeira Rose (also known as ‘Halloween’), belonging to the group of variegated aeonium collections derived from this well-known genetic line. It develops compact and balanced rosettes, with leaves that display a light green center surrounded by cream or soft white margins. Under good lighting, these light areas can acquire slight pink tones, generating a delicate and changing coloration according to the season without losing the characteristic harmony of this variety.
The Aeonium “Love In The Fallen City” variegated exhibits stable variegation throughout the year and good sprouting capacity, forming dense clusters of rosettes over time.Like other selections derived from the Halloween, line, it develops a well-branched shrub structure and a coloration that intensifies progressively with greater light exposure. It maintains moderate growth and good adaptation to pot cultivation, without showing special fragilities beyond the typical cold sensitivity of the genus. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.
Known names: ‘Qingcheng’, ‘Halloween white’, ‘Halloween 2’

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
Variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess humidity can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
