Aeonium "Horus" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Horus" variegated is an exclusive hybrid created by Don Suculentas, resulting from a complex cross between Aeonium “Morticia” variegated and Aeonium "sedifolium × nobile". It is not just a simple genetic combination, but a completely unique identity within the world of variegated aeoniums, with clearly differentiated morphology and behavior.
In the Aeonium "Horus" variegated, the structure breaks away from the classic rosette, showing a more chaotic growth with multiple heads and narrow, elongated leaves that have a wilder appearance inherited in part from

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeonium exhibits a growth cycle different from many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer it significantly reduces its activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate are much more important than following strict watering schedules.
