Aeonium "Halloween" Rainbow variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
🌈 Special selection – Rainbow expression
This specimen of Aeonium "Halloween" features a distinctly marked multicolor expression, where the variegation combines greens, yellows, pinks, oranges, and reddish hues in a visible transition between leaves or within the same leaf. The chromatic intensity may vary depending on the light and the season, but it maintains a balanced and highly ornamental pattern that places it among the most expressive selections of the collection.
The Aeonium "Halloween" Rainbow variegated is a direct mutation of Aeonium “Halloween” (Madeira Rose), developing one of the most complex and chromatic expressions within the variegated aeoniums. It maintains the typical compact and balanced structure of this line, with well-centered rosettes and slightly rounded fleshy leaves that provide a very stable base within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Halloween" Rainbow variegated, the variegation is dynamic and irregular, simultaneously combining green, yellow, cream, intense red, and purple hues in a single leaf. The center tends to remain brighter, while the more saturated tones and even almost black dark areas concentrate towards the outside, creating a true “rainbow” effect. This variability makes each specimen unique, making it an especially attractive option among the collection of variegated aeoniums. Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
