Aeonium "Green Rose" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Green Rose" variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Zeus”, which in turn comes from Aeonium undulatum, maintaining the majestic and structural characteristics of this genetic line. It develops robust stems and wide rosettes, providing a strong and well-defined presence within the group of variegated aeoniums and collection variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Green Rose" variegated, the focus is on an intense and clean green that occupies most of the leaf, accompanied by a well-defined cream margin. Unlike “Zeus”, the variegation is lighter and more contrasted, with a more orderly and elegant visual reading, without complex chromatic mixes.
In high light conditions, the edges can acquire more pronounced pinkish hues, creating the effect that names the plant and reinforcing its ornamental appeal without losing its dominant green identity. The variegated Aeonium "Green Rose" exhibits stable growth and good adaptation to cultivation, making it a very interesting option for collectors seeking structural, clean specimens with a strong presence among variegated succulents. Plant imported from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, primarily developing during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to gradually close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
