Aeonium "Glow Worm" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Glow Worm" variegated is considered a mutation of Aeonium “Pink Daisy”, within the line derived from Aeonium “Mardi Grass”, where the variegation shows high variability among variegated aeoniums. It maintains an open rosette with elongated and slightly narrow leaves, providing a light and dynamic aesthetic within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Glow Worm" variegated, the variegation is distributed in longitudinal stripes where green coexists with light areas in cream or soft yellow tones, usually well-centered on the leaf. The most distinctive feature is its ability to alternate expressions within the same plant, with cleaner and brighter rosettes alongside others with a greater pink load and contrast. This variability makes it a very interesting option for collectors looking for changing variegated aeonium within variegated succulents. Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
Variegated aeonium have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
