Aeonium "Glaze" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium “Glaze” variegated is a mutation of A. “Maybach”, derived in turn from a reversion of A. “Green Cashmere”, belonging to the group of more stable collection variegated aeoniums at the chromatic level. It develops balanced and elegant rosettes, characterized by a fine central yellow band traversed by green veins, flanked on both sides by areas of more intense green. This distribution generates a clean and very refined contrast, especially appreciated within the collection variegated succulents.
The Aeonium “Glaze” variegated maintains a very stable coloration throughout the year, showing few seasonal changes compared to other varieties of this genetic line. It also exhibits excellent budding capacity and relatively fast growth, forming dense and well-structured specimens over time.It does not show special weaknesses beyond the typical cold sensitivity of the genus, particularly highlighting its resistance, stability, and tidy appearance in cultivation. Plant imported from China and reproduced in our greenhouse.
Common names: ‘Maybach middle’, ‘Gold Jade middle’, ‘Jadeite Glaze’

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeonium have a different growth cycle compared to many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
