Aeonium "Czar" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Czar" variegated is a mutation of Aeonium “Venus”, which in turn is derived from Aeonium “Mardi Grass”, where the variegation expands more prominently within the variegated aeoniums. It maintains the open and regular structure characteristic of this genetic line, with elongated leaves arranged in a radial pattern that provide a clean and bright aesthetic within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Czar" variegated, broad areas in yellow-cream tones dominate, occupying a large part of the leaf, while the green is more concentrated in central stripes or irregular areas. The edge develops a slight pink line that intensifies with light, providing definition without breaking the harmony of the whole. This clearer and more expansive distribution makes it an ideal option for collectors looking for bright and orderly variegated aeoniums within the variegated succulents. Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
Variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate are much more important than following strict watering schedules.
