Aeonium "Bronze Face" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The variegated Aeonium "Bronze Face" is a mutation of Aeonium “Zwartkin” that stands out within the group of variegated aeoniums for its extremely dynamic chromatic evolution. It maintains an open and well-structured rosette, with elongated leaves that accentuate the color gradient effect and provide a very expressive aesthetic within variegated succulents.
In the variegated Aeonium "Bronze Face," the center of the rosette retains green and yellow tones even in high light conditions, creating a very bright focal point. From there, the outer leaves progressively evolve from soft greens and yellows to orange and copper tones, which can intensify to deep reds and dark shades close to brown or black.
This contrast between the light heart and the darker mature leaves creates a very powerful and changing visual effect throughout the year. It is a slower-growing variety with a lower tendency to produce offsets, which reinforces its character as a special piece within the collection. The variegated Aeonium "Bronze Face" is ideal for collectors seeking specimens with high chromatic variability and great visual impact among variegated succulents. Imported plant from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
The variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only when the substrate is completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
