Aeonium "Anna" variegated - Origin: Don Suculentas
The Aeonium "Anna" variegated is considered a possible variegated form of Aeonium “Durango”, sharing its structural base and that marked character within the variegated aeoniums. It features a compact and well-balanced rosette, with broad and slightly rounded leaves that clearly resemble this genetic line, providing a solid presence within the variegated succulents.
In the Aeonium "Anna" variegated, green mixes with lighter areas in a non-dominant way, remaining partially integrated into the structure of the leaf. The most notable aspect is the intensity of the reddish tones, which expand from the edges towards the center, blending with bronze and green hues and generating a darker and deeper appearance. This more organic behavior, where variegation and pigmentation compete and interact, makes it a very interesting option among the strong-character variegated aeoniums. Plant imported from China reproduced in our greenhouse.

Aeonium variegados : cultivation and care
Variegated aeoniums have a different growth cycle than many other succulents, developing mainly during autumn, winter, and spring, while in summer they significantly reduce their activity.
- 🌞 A lot of filtered light and good ventilation
- 💧 Moderate watering only with the substrate completely dry
- 🔥 Avoid intense sun and excess humidity during summer
- ❄️ Protect against prolonged frosts
During the summer dormancy, the rosettes tend to progressively close to protect the growth center from extreme heat. In this phase, excess moisture can easily cause root problems, especially with high temperatures and tropical nights.
Observing the plant and adapting to the actual growing climate is much more important than following strict watering schedules.
