Hello and welcome to 2026 Don Suculentas.

With this article, we want to share an update on the project , explaining what has happened during the last months of 2025 and what new direction we are taking from now on. We believe that transparency is key to building a solid and honest project in the online sales sector.

2025 Balance at Don Suculentas

Since 2023, we have been mainly focused on production and import destined for other online stores and gardening centers.

Throughout 2025, we have found that this model has not met the goals we had set. The market has evolved rapidly and today it is a much more mature and competitive sector.

Among the factors that have marked this change are:

An increasingly demanding market
The emergence of uncontrolled sellers and importers, generating unfair competition
An Asian market that sets prices that are very difficult to match

In this context, the mid-range of —a segment in which a large part of our production was situated— has lost a significant portion of its commercial output. Currently, the market is polarized between very low-cost plants produced on a large scale and very selected high-end plants.

Changes in the project and limits of the previous model

This stage has forced us to recognize several clear limits of the model we had been working with:

We have not been able to develop mass production that would allow us to compete on price
Imports have posed numerous logistical and economic problems
The creation of our own hybrids has yielded good results, but it is a slow, very demanding process with a reduced final yield

In the fall of 2025, we had to leave the greenhouse we had rented, as it was not feasible to maintain a structure of that size. At the end of the year, we made the decision to close this stage and dedicate the last months to liquidating the available stock.

A complicated stage on a personal level

This period also coincided with health problems that prevented us from working normally. This directly affected the operation of the online store:

delays in shipments
less customer service
a service below what we consider acceptable

For all this, we want to sincerely apologize to those of you who have been affected.

The direction of Don Suculentas in 2026

From now on, the direction is clear: to fully focus on online sales, with a more realistic and sustainable approach.

Carefully selected plants
Frequent restocks
New additions
Less volume and more quality
Better service and shopping experience

In recent weeks we have received new plants and restocks, and we are reorganizing the project to offer a more coherent online store aligned with what we have always wanted to build.
